By Sean Jones: Canelo Alvarez doesn’t seem fascinated by combating former UFC champion Conor McGregor after studying of him calling him out for a boxing match.
Canelo mentioned that he would beat the 34-year-old McGregor with one hand, which clearly is true as a result of the Irish fighter doesn’t have clue one what to do in a boxing ring towards a world class fighter.
McGregor fought a washed-up 41-year-old Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2017 and was stopped within the tenth spherical in a battle that was so extremely boring to disappointing to look at for the various followers that wasted $100 ordering the match on PPV, foolishly considering it will b aggressive.
Now that McGregor’s MMA profession is within the mud, along with his having misplaced three of his final 4 matches in that sport, his means to hustle fights towards standard boxers has eroded. McGregor can’t discuss his manner right into a battle with Canelo as a result of he doesn’t have the cache that he as soon as did.
If McGregor goes to battle a boxer, he might want to intention decrease on the tree to some low-hanging fruit and attempt to peddle the match on PPV in hopes somebody will purchase it.
“I’d beat him with one hand,” mentioned Canelo reacting to being referred to as out by former UFC champion Conor McGregor.
Canelo you little ginger sausage. I’d beat you with NO HANDS. Don’t neglect.

Canelo isn’t going to embarrass himself by stooping to the extent of combating MMA guys like McGregor the best way Mayweather did. He’s centered on combating Dmitry Bivol subsequent and doesn’t have time to tug pathetic financial institution heists-level fights like Floyd did and continues to do along with his exhibition matches.
“Our request from Canelo and Eddy Reynoso is to battle Dmitry Bivol. If we are able to’t make that battle, he’s going to take a look at different choices. [David’ Benavidez, I’m sure will be one of those,” said Eddie Hearn to Behind The Gloves about Canelo Alvarez’s plans for his next fight in September.
“Nothing is decided on his behalf other than their instructions to me to try and make the Dmitry Bivol fight. But that’s up to Dmitry Bivol. Really, Canelo has already expressed his desire to make that fight at 175.
“Canelo wants the same terms as before, and Canelo wants it at 175 because that’s where he lost. Obviously, Bivol wanted the fight at 168 for the undisputed, but he’s never boxed there before.
“The WBC has come out and said, ‘It won’t be for the undisputed because we won’t sanction it’ because he’s a Russian fighter, and that’s a separate debate. So 175 is the weight, and if Dmitry Bivol doesn’t want it, we will either offer different options to Canelo or, as always, he can talk to other people and stuff like that.
“So his plans at the moment, what I’ve been instructed to do, is to try and make the Bivol fight,” said Hearn.
